Make sure to ask for a room away from the street for a quieter night's sleep.

The room felt spacious, with a comfortable queen bed and clean linens that made for a decent night's sleep. Vintage charm stood out, especially with the unique elevator that added character to the place.
The location's sketchy, nestled in a neighborhood with some signs of disarray—think homeless folks and the occasional ruckus outside. The elevator, while charming, is a relic from a bygone era, and the heating seemed to be a gamble, leaving me a tad chilly on a winter night. Cleanliness fell short. there was a noticeable stain on the comforter, and only one towel was provided for two guests, which is just silly.

The room felt spacious with a comfortable queen bed and clean linens. I appreciated the vintage charm, especially the unique elevator. Proximity to public transportation was a huge plus. the bus stop was right across the street, making it easy to navigate the city. However, the noise from the street was overwhelming at night, making it hard to sleep. The hallway had a bit of an odd smell upon arrival, which was off-putting. I noticed some outdated amenities. my room didn't have a TV, which I missed. Staff were polite and responsive, but having only one towel in the bathroom for two guests was an awkward oversight. Overall, I found the location quite convenient but needing attention regarding cleanliness and maintenance.

Staying here was a good choice for the price at around $110 per night. The room was clean and comfortable, providing a welcoming atmosphere that I truly enjoyed. The vintage elevator added charm, making my experience feel distinct. However, the absence of a TV and phone was noticeable, and I faced a few maintenance issues like a leaking refrigerator and a malfunctioning shower. Despite these drawbacks, the friendly staff quickly addressed my concerns, which made a positive impact on my stay.

Had a lovely stay! The room was spacious and had all the essentials. The bus stop right across the road was a real lifesaver for city jaunts.
But dear, that lift! Felt like a trip back to the 1940s—definitely not for the faint-hearted!

Decent stay for the price!
I stayed for 3 nights in a queen room with my own bathroom. It was clean and comfy overall. The elevator was a trip—so vintage! Gotta say, the area had some shady vibes, though, and the street noise was a bit much at times. The staff were chill and super helpful when I needed directions.

It was just a proper fit for spending a night in San Francisco with incredible value for money. The friendly staff helped us with directions to the nearest subway station, which was convenient. Be prepared for some noise from the street at night.
